Elias found a stick early on the hike and wanted to bring it home. With one stick, from a previous outing, already in the car, he had to choose one. He eventually stashed today's stick with the hopes of picking it up again on a future hike.
We did not complete the loop on this attempt (nor were we aiming to do so). Keep it simple, easy, and fun this first time out this season.
We ventured on the easy trail near the Lodge. Mostly clear of snow and mud.
